With over 24 years of dedicated experience in the field, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and other neurological conditions as they navigate the intricate journey of rehabilitation, recovery, and post-injury life. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas at Tyler, attained in 1997. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado and a Licensed Psychological Associate with Independent Practice in the state of Texas.

My professional journey has been marked by diverse roles across various esteemed institutions, including the Transitional Learning Center in Galveston, The Institution for Rehabilitation and Research in the Texas Medical Center, and Learning Services in Colorado. Throughout my career, I have cultivated a specialized expertise in psychotherapy tailored to this unique population. My approach encompasses a multifaceted focus on adjustment, compensatory strategies, emotional regulation, and comprehensive brain injury education. I firmly believe in empowering individuals to not only cope with the challenges presented by their condition but also to thrive in their post-injury endeavors.

A cornerstone of my practice is assisting injured workers with TBI and other life-altering injuries in navigating the often complex and emotionally taxing rehabilitation journey. I am proficient in addressing a spectrum of emotional needs, providing invaluable support and guidance every step of the way.

I am passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of my clients and am dedicated to fostering their resilience and well-being. Whether through individual therapy, support groups, or collaborative care, my mission is to provide the highest standard of care and support to those affected by TBI and other neurological conditions.
